The product I purchased has a different colour than the pictures online. How is that possible?

Every crystal product by Moser is unique, therein lies the magic of handmade production. That’s why our products may differ slightly not only in shape but also colour. We present the most realistic photos to the clients online, nevertheless, the colours may appear quite different on various displays and devices.

Most often, colour deviations arise in underlaid or overlaid products. When creating an underlaid object, the glassmaker loads the coloured molten glass onto the blowpipe, before also applying a layer of pure crystal or more molten glass of another colour. Overlaid glass is made when the glassmaker applies a different coloured layer of crystal to the crystal core of another colour. Thus, the exact amount of the coloured layer or individual colours can differ solely by the glassmaker’s estimation and mastery. No weight system or tape measure can help them. That’s why the colourfulness of every underlaid or overlaid product may differ slightly from the photos on the e-shop.
